Salmon: A Scientific Memoir

Here's a review I wrote recently of Salmon: A Scientific Memoir, by Jude Isabella, for BC Studies.  It's a lovely book, profiling the life of salmon in British Columbia, and those who study them.  Along the way she explains some of the science of salmon, their place in the west coast ecosystem (both water and forest), and their history, intertwined with that of coastal First Nations.
